Dr. SEAN E. CHILLEMI, DACM, MSTOM, LA.C, LMT, HHC

Dr. Sean E. Chillemi, a life-long resident of Tarrytown, NY, is the owner and primary practitioner of Ren-Shen Healing. Sean is a graduate of the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine where he received a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. He also received a Bachelor of Professional Studies in Asian Holistic Health and Massage, as well as a dual degree of Bachelor of Professional Studies and Master's of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Pacific College.  In addition, Sean has also obtained certifications in Kyo-jung (Korean Physical Manipulation), Medical Qi Gong, and is a Board Certified Holistic Health Counselor with the American Association of Drugless Practitioners (AADP). Other credentials include Memorial Sloan Kettering certifications for Acupuncture and Medical Massage for the Cancer Patient. 

His studies in Oriental Medicine began after completing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics at Pace University. This career change came after he was diagnosed with skin cancer at age 21. During this difficult time, Sean learned and appreciated the importance of alternative medicine in healing the mind, body, and soul. In return, he is dedicating his life to helping others restore their energy and health. 

Sean is currently undertaking the challenge of obtaining a Ph.D in the Integration of Eastern and Western Medicine with a focus in Neurology from the Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine located in Shenyang, China. He is driven by an unrelenting desire for knowledge and skill to aid in the healing of others.

Dr. Stephanie Reyes Goichman, DACM, La.c, DIPLOM

Dr. Stephanie Reyes Goichman, DACM, is a NYS licensed acupuncturist with national board certifications in Acupuncture, Chinese Medicine, Biomedicine, and Chinese Herbology from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She graduated with honors from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, where she earned her Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (DACM). Dr. Goichman also led a previous career in public radio covering women’s health and national environmental issues. The awareness she gained as a reporter led to a passion for Integrative and Eastern Medicine and a desire to help others achieve optimal health and wellness through holistic healthcare. 

Her training includes work at the Health Services Center at Columbia University helping students with anxiety and stress, the NYU Langone Labor and Delivery Unit supporting mothers in labor, and the Housing Works community health clinic supporting the LGBTQ+ community, as well as the TCM Hospital of Acupuncture and Moxibustion in Beijing, China. 

Stephanie spent several years working in private and community clinics in NYC, specializing in women’s health. She has extensive experience helping patients with hormonal irregularities, fertility and prenatal support, menopause, emotional and spiritual wellbeing, auto-immune conditions, headaches, digestive disorders, and musculoskeletal pain management. With her knowledge in women’s health, Stephanie is dedicated to supporting women of all ages and needs during transitional times in life. In addition, she is a member of the North American Menopause Society (NAMS) and certified in Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture using holistic techniques to enhance natural beauty and restore skin health.

Stephanie also has a background in music, dance and theater and spent many years working with artists, musicians and creative types who relate to her wholehearted approach to treatment. Inspired by the five element approach to healing, she incorporates an understanding of energetics and the mind-body-spirit connection to help patients attain physical, emotional and spiritual well-being. 

Stephanie’s goal is to provide empathic, effective treatments that help patients connect with themselves and improve their quality of life. She believes patient education is key and will work with you to create a thoughtful and comprehensive treatment plan.

 

Dr. david thuroff, dacm, la.c, LMT

A lifelong student of martial arts, David was always interested in the healing benefits of massage and acupuncture. After a series of illnesses, he became inspired by the effectiveness of East Asian and integrative medicine.

David attended the Swedish Institute in New York City to become a licensed massage therapist and subsequently completed his Masters degree and Doctorate in Acupuncture and Herbal medicine at Pacific College of Health and Sciences. David's practice is focused on sports & orthopedics, reproductive health and fertility support, as well as stress and pain management.

David taught acupuncture and massage therapy at the Pacific College of Health and Sciences for over a decade while maintaining a private practice. He has most recently worked alongside his sister, Daryl at the renowned Yinova Center in NYC. He is also fortunate to have worked with world champion martial artists and professional athletes.
